Second Spring Farm grows vegetables for CSA and wholesale in Wheatland, VA, 45 miles from Washington, DC.  We work to produce large volumes of tasty, beautiful, high-quality vegetables, and to do this in a way that furthers the principles of person-based rather than corporate-based food systems.  Our methods follow the principles of sustainably-minded, ecologically-based farming.

Our main crops are the “staple” vegetables that people like to eat:
squash, cucumbers, carrots, peppers, spinach, lettuce, and all sorts of tomatoes


We have a CSA program where you can eat our vegetables every week from June through Thanksgiving, and we sell wholesale to other DC-area CSAs, fermenting businesses, and retail stores.
